The bidet is an interesting and hygienic (though perhaps awkward in some countries) bathroom luxury that is growing increasingly popular. Its history, if looked at appropriately, can be thought of as interesting as the toiletry tool itself.

Etymology: Bidet comes from the French “pony”. The idea is that when one uses the bidet, he or she “rides” it much like a pony is ridden-in that while one relieves him or herself that person is straddling it much like a pony would be straddled. In the French culture the bidet is referred to as “garden hose” as well”.

To the best of historical knowledge, the exact date of invention or inventor is unknown, though it is thought to have been invented in the early 1700′s. Rumored inventors are Christoph Des Rosier or Marc Andre Jacoud. The earliest found reference to the bidet itself that has been written was from 1710 in Italy.

The earliest bidet was simply a bowl that one can squat over to use the bathroom. It was not necessarily kept in the bathroom. It evolved as did toilets and plumbing. Americans modified the device so that it was made out of porcelain. With the invention of modern plumbing came the notion that the bidet should remain in the bathroom. It was also at this time that the upward-spraying device for personal hygiene was implemented.

Though the bidet had humble origins it evolved into one of the most sophisticated devices available for personal hygiene as far as urinary and bowel release is concerned. It can be found all over the world today and through several manufacturers. It is far more sophisticated than many modern toilets that are still in use today especially with the use of electronic bidet seats with BidetKing.com . Anyone who wishes to purchase a bidet should not be embarrassed, rather, they should embrace its efficiency and convenience.

Dressing up for Halloween is an exciting event. It gives you a chance to think creatively and impress those around you. If you are lucky enough to work at a place that lets you dress on Halloween, the workday is a blast. One of the more fun things you can do on Halloween is choose a select group of friends and all dress as a theme! This is a great idea to share ideas and keep together for maximum costume enjoyment. Below are a few ideas for groupSuperheroes. Superheroes are dominating the movie screens now, so it’s a great time to grab your friends and fight some crime; Halloween style. No matter who your favorite heroes are, mix it up with both male and female friends and storm the night together.
Law enforcement. Grab some police riot gear, dress up as a couple of criminals and hit the evening with a variety of different crime-screen figures. This is a great way to dress up and pit friends against each other just like cops and robbers.

Have 3 other friends and want to get a group costume going? The most popular of these would be the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. People love getting creative with TMNT costume designs whether you’re going for an authentic look or putting your own original spin to it. Visit this TMNT fan site for costume ideas.

Wild West. Speaking of lawmen, why not step back in time and dress like some old school cowboys and lawmen. Women can throw on their best skirts and play the tough-as-nails saloon girl, or the elegant wife of the famous no-nonsense lawmen. Guys get to sculpt facial hair into glorious mustaches and women will have the chance to doll up their hair. Great combination, sure to draw lots of attention.Mad scientist and experiments. Here’s where your creativity can get wild. One of the friends will dress up as a mad scientist with crazy hair and doctor scrubs while everyone else gets to put together some of the craziest, grossest looking ideas they can think of. This mad scientist’s experiments have gone crazy, so make it look great as you piece together nasty bits.Halloween is a great time to think outside the box and be fun and creative. Mix these up with your friends and you are sure to have an amazing night on the town. You and your pals should all come up with something to agree on and you will love to brainstorm even more. It’s fun to hang out with a group of people, roaming the streets during Halloween. Enjoy it even more as you all dress up with a common theme and scare, or delight, everyone around you!

A great number of people in the United States have already or are about to find out how their child is doing in school for the first time this year. Parent conferences and report cards are coming up if they haven’t already and not everyone is keeping tabs on their child’s progress in school as much as they wished they could. The question remains, what to do when you realize that your son or daughter isn’t doing as well in school as we all wish they did?

First thing and most important, you have to go to the parent conferences. With your child, you will likely get an answer about their studies that tries to put them in the best light possible. Maybe they aren’t putting as much effort into what they should be doing as you or their teachers think. Go have that conversation with the teacher, you will get an unfiltered look at exactly what the problem is.

Now that you know what the problem is, the question is how to solve it. If the problem is a lack of effort on the part of your child in the homework department; sit down and do it with them. People tend to try harder when someone is watching them, plus it will give them a sense of accomplishment when mom or dad sees them overcome an educational obstacle.

One must always consider the prospect of tutoring. Find a tutor is easier than you think. It often involves just asking around school but if that isn’t an option, you can always search the internet. If you’re student is struggling in physics for example, and you live in Philadelphia, simply go to a search engine or craigslist and type in “Philadelphia physics tutors“.

Study plans are also an excellent idea for a struggling child. For example, say your child spends three hours studying a night. They have five subjects and is not doing well in one of them. What I have done in this circumstance is set a distinct amount of time that the child will spend studying each particular subject, according to how good or bad they feel they are doing.

These are just two ways to help fix a very fixable problem. All you really need to do is just help your child and let them know that you know they are trying their absolute hardest.

Saving money for your teen’s college education is as easy as ever. In this day and age, there are all sorts of grants and student aids that allow your child to succeed without being financially distressed. In addition, there are also student loans that your child can think about, and they are definitely very relaxed when it comes to paying them off. For most student loans, there is almost no interest, and they can be paid off after college. While being loaned money is not exactly the best bet, it is definitely something to think about as a last resort.

It is almost impossible for your kid to go through high school and not get some sort of grant or scholarship. Unless they have an extremely low GPA when graduating, (or have been in a lot of trouble when they were at school), they should at least walk out with a few hundred dollars that they can put towards a starting degree. In addition, most people look in to setting up a savings account so they can help their kids afford college without having to raise all of the money themselves.

What a lot of parents do is set up an account and automatically deposit a small portion of their paycheck to said account. This technique is basically out of sight, out of mind, because they won’t even realize that any money is being taken out because it’s such a small amount. In reality, this money can slowly stack up over the years and actually pay for a two-year degree itself. A lot of parents will be surprised at what a difference a two-year degree can make, and the opportunities that it opens up almost immediately after finishing it.

To most college kids, the first two years are the hardest. The transition from high school life to college life is absolutely crazy, and the financial burden that is placed upon them during this time can be almost impossible to balance. The key is to get whatever money in place that you can now from scholarships or grants, and use them to get those first few years of college knocked out. Ideally, you want your children to spend it on things like tuition and cheap college textbooks. In reality, this is saving yourself money in the future, because you will be able to get a decent full-time job with a two-year degree, and pay off the next two years, (if that’s what type of degree you are going for), with any leftover scholarship money.

One of the dumbest decisions that teens make is blowing all of their financial aid on things that they do not need. It is much smarter in the long-run to use whatever money you need for tuition first, and then think about spending it on things that you don’t need after you actually have a degree.

Saving money while shopping for your children can be easy. You don’t have to spend a ton of money on all the fancy things to look nice. You can save money and look good all at the same time.

While out shopping look for clothes in the clearance racks, sometimes you can find clothes that are still in season. It might take a little bit of work to find the clothes that fit your children, but it will be worth it to save money. Also look for stuff that is on sale. Sometimes halfway through the winter season or whatever season is in, stuff may go on sale. If so get sizes that will fit your children next year. Sometimes getting two sizes up is good because then you knows your child will fit into it come the next year.

Now if you’re shopping for toys or other cool gadgets for birthdays or holidays, do it out of season. You can buy many items during the summer months for half of the price you would spend for them around Christmas time. When shopping for toys and gifts it is best not to bring the children with you, even if they are younger. If the children are with you, this can always turn into an “I want this or that” kind of trip. This can be stressful and hurt the wallet a lot more than you expect.

Then we move on to the hygiene and basic needs for your children. Whether you have a son or daughter, they both will need hygiene and bathroom products. They both will need shavers and shaving cream and this is where using coupons can help you. When you’re out looking for these products, get your local paper. In the paper can be valuable coupons to help you save money. Yes it can be time consuming to clip coupons, but it is worth it in the end when you save over $50.00 for one trip at the store. Also buying shampoo and conditioner can be cheaper with coupons. There are many coupons out there for personal hygiene and basic grooming products your adolescent will need.

So whether you’re out shopping for clothes or toys or pads and shavers, you can save money while doing it all. It is simple, but more time consuming but well worth it in the end.

Supporting a family is tough enough, but having a well thought out plan and a budget will help your dollar stretch further. In order to survive the economic crunch happening in today’s age, you will need to look closely at your finances. Spending more than you bring in per month is a bad practice, especially for those who have a family. This article will help you tackle the management of your family’s finances.

First and foremost, if you don’t already have one, create a budget. For those who don’t know what a budget is, it’s simply a financial plan where you break down and assign money to specific monthly bills, savings, etc. For example, you may be eyeing that leather recliner chair for your home office, but you’ll definitely want to budget for that if you only have a few hundred dollars left at the end of the month.

There are many types of budget systems available today that you can easily research online for free. Among the most popular are the “envelope method” and free budgeting websites which manage your spending by keeping track of your expenditures via your bank account. Keep in mind that you shouldn’t have to pay for a budget, and that most budget plans can be researched online for free. Once you find a budget plan that you feel you can integrate into your family lifestyle, start on it immediately.

When making your budget plan, make a needs list and a wants list. Needs are things like food, a place to live, etc. Wants are things like cable television, or a new car. It is also a good idea to make sure that your needs list is not over inflated. You could for instance, buy a used car compared to a brand new one.

After you have figured out what your needs are and what your wants are, focus on paying for your needs first, and keep your wants secondary.

Take a look at what you bring in monthly and compare it to your monthly spending. This is called your income to debt ratio. Asses whether you are spending more money than you bring in per month. If the total in your needs list is higher than your monthly income, then it is time to find a second job, or re-evaluate your “needs” list. If you find that your income covers your needs list, then start looking at a savings solution for your wants list.

Credit, may be a necessary evil in today’s society but you should do your best to make sure that you use credit sparingly. Try to pay off your credit card balances before the end of your monthly billing cycle to avoid the stiff interest rates that credit cards charge. Doing so will make your credit score soar, and save you some money too!

Do you remember the first date you had with your boyfriend, who later became your husband? Most likely you did everything you could in order to look your best. Your goal was to impress him. This same rule should apply after you are married. It does not matter how many children you have, the numbers of years you have been married, your age, or anything else. Your husband loves you for who you are and it will boost his self-esteem and confidence if you continue to look your best through the ages.

The night before your date you will want to know what he has planned. Will you be going to dinner, to the movies, visit friends, or what? Then, once you know the itinerary, you might select an outfit or two and ask him what he thinks about what you want to wear. This will tell him that you value his opinion. He will realize that you want to wear something that pleases him.

When you are preparing for your date you might want to ask yourself this question: do I want to dress for my own self gratification or do I want to dress for his pleasure? Hopefully, your answer will fall some place in the middle. If you ask your husband for his opinion about what to wear you will be meeting his satisfaction. Since you selected the clothes you want him to choose from then you are also receiving your self gratification.

The day of your date you might consider going to your favorite hair salon. Have your hair styled the way your husband likes to see you. If you have the time, and the money, you might also get a facial and a manicure at your favorite chicago salon. Get your nails done with the best nail polish. It will be nice to pamper yourself and this will also reward your husband when you go on your date.

When you leave for your date focus your attention on him. Ask him how his day was. If you know people he works with ask him questions. This will make him feel like you care about him and his position. If you simply talk about yourself and your friends this is not only being selfish it puts the attention only on you. You need to reinforce the fact that you care about him and his happiness. Time after time this will end with a successful date.

Going on a vacation with your family does not have to be expensive but it can be if you don’t know the right ways to save money when going on vacation. You can learn to pinch pennies here and there but some of the easiest solutions will save money. Some great ways to save money on a family vacation include choosing an all inclusive vacation resort instead of a regular resort and going on vacation during the off season rather than during the peak season.

All inclusive resorts are great for families because the entire family gets access to everything the resort has to offer including food, beverages, activities, classes, and the room you stay in for one set price. When you have a family expenses can be hard to keep a keen eye on because there are so many different people spending money. With the all inclusive vacation option you get to control how much you spend and pay it just one time and everybody gets to enjoy the vacation without a second thought given to spending money the entire time you are there on vacation. At a regular resort food and drinks can add up if you dine out for every meal and the price of paying for activities and rentals can push the spending even further. At an all inclusive resort you can afford to keep everyone fed and to try as many different rentals and activities that your whole family will enjoy.

Another way to save money is to hit your destination of choice during it’s off peak season. Almost every tourist destination has a peak season when there are many more tourists there and the price of flights and hotel rooms are much higher. If you find out when the particular off peak season is for that place you want to go you can find flights and hotel rooms for sometimes less than half of what they cost during the peak season. Another plus side to going on a vacation during the off peak season is that the destination often clears out and there are less crowds around. The family can still enjoy everything the location has to offer but without all of the tourist crowds. A quieter vacation can sometimes be much more enjoyable and you feel like you get more of the location to yourself while paying less money and staying on budget.

Many children along with their parents dread the winter months. Depending on where you live, winter means many days confined to your home and other indoor activities. When this happens, children can get restless and very bored quickly. In order to avoid this you have to be creative and set up fun indoor activities for you and your kids to do together.

One great idea for having fun in the wintertime with your kids is having a party indoors. For the party prepare nice treats for the kids such as chocolates, cupcakes, and hot chocolate. Kids love treats and they love parties so set up some games and great food and invite some of their little friends.

Another good way to have fun with your kids on a snow day is to take them to a toy store to purchase a new toy. It is the perfect way to spend quality time with your kids and they can be rewarded for good behavior (if they have been well behaved). You can purchase a few toys and games that you can play with together.

Ice skating is a very fun winter activity for families to do together. It is very budget conscious and fun. One of the most memorable childhood moments is their first ice skating adventure. Yes, falling is involved but it is fun and will bring many laughs to bond over.

Lastly, spend some time and enjoy the weather together by going outside and making a snowman or having a snowball fight. Kids can release some of their built up energy and get some physical activity at the same time. Whether you are building a snowman or having a snowball fight with your child you can have a good time while out in the cold weather. Just do not forget to bundle up and wearing thick ski or snowboard pants along with heavy jackets, coats and beanies are a must.

Overall, having fun with your children during the wintertime is easy. As a parent, all you need is a little creativity. There is no reason not to have fun even if you are trapped indoors due to harsh weather. Throwing a little party with tasty treats, splurging on a few new toys or going ice skating is the way to put a smile on a child’s face and make sure that they are having fun. Children are so high energy and it is important to end boredom. When the cold weather arrives its time for some indoor fun!

Making the best use of your own ideas and skills with some professional input makes for the best ideas when decorating and designing for your home. Having access to or ownership of a furniture wholesale store, as part of their design business helps, but it also technically means that you must coordinate a business team and have a home interior design strategy. When you bring these kind of business tactics together, many things will be made simpler by having the coordinated efforts available at your disposal. This is how you will be able to save time and money for everyone involved in the design projects you undertake.

Time management requires some expertise to have the mastery of. It is important to recognize if you are an expert in a particular area of interior design or not. If not then you should be willing to seek out the advice of experts in that field, but it is better to have them as part of a team at your ready when needed. This is particularly true on larger projects that involve remodeling and construction within an existing household. Sticking to a projected time schedule is essential to avoiding additional costs and problems. This type planning is especially important for projects that involve window installations, fireplace construction, decorative ironwork framing, laying floors and anything necessary before bringing furnishings into the home.

Once the groundwork installations of an interior design project is finished, then the process of furnishing and decorating the household. Here is where the options offered by having a furniture store or warehouse as part of your business, will earn your project money and save it for the clients. By owning your own furniture outlet, you can purchase or order most furniture at wholesaler costs. This is something not all businesses qualify for, but as an interior designer with enough clients, you should be able to meet the yearly minimums for most wholesale distributors.

Wholesale marketplaces offer the widest varieties of furniture styles, factory direct items, custom made furniture and seasonal closeout sets. Most products purchased these ways are brand new or showroom quality, either one you can sell to clients at a considerable markdown from retail prices while still making a profit. Suppliers usually have an assortment of styles such as contemporary, Southwestern, Tuscan and many others. They will have bedroom furniture, dining room sets, living room tables, custom kitchens, entertainment centers, bookshelves, office accessories, wall decals and other items for furnishing homes.

Much of what is being described here would not be possible without the assistance of an interior design team that you can trust. This is a group of people, workers, laborers and assistants that specialize in the various areas necessary to complete a project successfully. With a business strategy, your interior design projects should go smoothly and the client will be pleased with the end result of their finished home. Always count on some last minute details that need to be tweaked, but none should stop the project from getting finished.
